Zithromax® (azithromycin) is prescribed to treat chlamydia, chancroid, pharyngitis, skin infections, urethritis and cervicitis.
Zithromax therapy: 500 mg (2 tabs) as first dose on day 1, followed by 250 mg (1 tab) once a day for 4 days (total 6 tabs, 5 day regimen, same as Zithromax Z-pak® regimen)
